Microsoft is really only buying 2nd place in the search engine\/advertising arena and could care less about Yahoo&#8217;s &#8220;really&#8221;\u00a0cool web technologies. In the long run, Microsoft will likely squander their bought 2nd place ranking because of their corporate\/marketing mindset which seems to stifle cool innovations and focus too much on short-term strategy.
