So the wife and I have moved to more spacious digs with the bonus of central air and great location. The move went smoothly. The only issue was Comcast didn’t show up in the “window” as planned and we had to go a whole week without internet (ouch). But that has been rectified as of today. Special thanks go out to those who either directly or indirectly helped us in the move.

Other then the flight from Detroit to New Orleans on a much too small and therefore cramped jet - avoid CRJ-type aircraft if you can - An Event Apart was great. I highly recommend the conference because of the content and the wonderful people who share it. New Orleans was a great location - the food was excellent and the warm spring atmosphere will get you out of any winter doldrums you might be experiencing. New Orleans kind of reminds me of Las Vegas but with more history and a comfortably “worn-in” feeling. Anyway, I hope to post my notes on the presentations here shortly although it may occur after the move. Yes. We are moving. To an apartment with central air. Two summers in Michigan without it makes it a key selling point.
