Other then the flight from Detroit to New Orleans on a much too small and therefore cramped jet – avoid CRJ-type aircraft if you can – An Event Apart was great. I highly recommend the conference because of the content and the wonderful people who share it. New Orleans was a great location – the food was excellent and the warm spring atmosphere will get you out of any winter doldrums you might be experiencing. New Orleans kind of reminds me of Las Vegas but with more history and a comfortably “worn-in” feeling.
